Whitney Houston Radio Requests
The following are U.S. radio stations where you can request Whitney Houston's songs on the radio. You also can request music videos here. Whenever you contact any radio station, it is important that the station believes you are a local listener, and that your request is not part of a larger fan campaign. Also, most radio stations respond better to phone call requests than e-mails, although e-mails can help too.
Tip: If you e-mail multiple radio stations simultaneously, be sure to use the BCC: line to enter the addresses, so the radio stations will not see that you contacted other stations.
The Top 10 radio markets in the United States are: (1) New York City (2) Los Angeles (3) Chicago (4) San Francisco (5) Dallas-Fort Worth (6) Houston-Galveston (7) Washington, D.C. (8) Philadelphia (9) Atlanta (10) Boston. If you do not know where to start, making radio requests at any of these locations would be an excellent way to help Whitney's songs.
For U.S. fans: If you are based in the United States, please do not call any radio stations that will require you to pay long distance telephone charges. Please only call your local radio stations or those with toll-free telephone numbers.
Especially for international fans: If you are e-mailing a U.S. radio station from overseas, please use a generic e-mail address that will not identify your country of origin. Also please do not call any U.S. radio stations, because in most cases, you will have to pay long-distance telephone charges.
Please note: It is likely that some of the information on this list may be out of date. It is not unusual for radio stations to change their contact information or even the format of music that they play. So please use this list as a guide, but be sure to know something about the radio station before you make a request. If you request a Whitney Houston song at a rock music station, for example, that would be a waste of your effort.
If you discover information on this list that is out of date, you can send updated information to the webmaster so that this page can be updated. Thank you.
