Hi everyone!I began as the webmaster of Whitney-Fan.com in September 1999 to help Whitney fans continue to keep in touch with Whitney's work as well as each other. This site has become an integral part of Whitney's presence on the Internet, and together, we have kept it an up-to-date resource on all there is to know about "The Voice" -- my favorite entertainer, Whitney Houston.
I have been a loyal Whitney fan since 1985, when she released her first single, "You Give Good Love." I was only a child at that time, but I always had a knack for avoiding one-hit wonders with questionable talent! And Whitney certainly did not disappoint! Her powerful, glorious voice has never ceased to amaze me over the past 23 years, and I have continued to follow her career as she has expanded beyond music to become one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood in the span of just three films, as well as a very successful producer.
I had been planning a site of my own for Whitney when I was offered the opportunity to keep this site alive. After much deliberation because it can be such a tough job, I decided to do it. I first began visiting this site about 12 years ago before it had its domain address and was an early supporter. I felt that seeing it disappear would have been a terrible blow not only to Whitney's presence on the Internet, but also to the thousands of fans who visit this site every day. I hope that I am doing it justice.
As for myself, I am a professional editor in New York City. I began designing Web sites when I was in college.
I am currently redesigning this site. The new layout is in production,
but launching it will take a long time because this site contains thousands
of pages, without exaggeration, and most of them need to be changed one
at a time. I expect to complete it by spring 2008. Among the changes,
you will see new graphics, some new content and some "extras"
that I have planned. I appreciate your patience and continued support.

to take this project on, and at times, it was hard to keep it going as it
grew faster than I expected.
Also, I cannot say enough about the wonderful people I have met over the
past 8-9 years who have been so supportive, and so nice to me, and who
have made personal efforts to help me keep this site going -- ranging
from news submissions, to photos, to audio files, to song lyrics, and
even just to say hello. They're all fantastic and I thank them very much.
