The Preacher's Wife Premiere party was quite the grand gala. The movie was shown at the Zigfield Theater in New York City. The after party was at the Roseland Theater which was transformed from a rock concert hall into an intimate supper club, just for the occasion. Guests included the artist formerly known as Prince and Michael Ovets, President of Disney. The Georgia Mass Choir performed three songs and then they were joined by Whitney who performed the entire soundtrack! Whitney was soon accompan ied by Shirely Caeser, Jennifer Lewis and Loretta Divine. By the end of the set, nearly the whole cast of The Preacher's Wife had joined Whitney on stage!
