want good pictures of your Whitney experience without having your camera confiscated?

If you are like me and want good pictures of your Whitney experience without having your camera confiscated......follow some of these general tips. If you have more specific questions, you can e-mail me.

Rule #1... DON'T USE A FLASH!!!!!!!! Your flash will do nothing but light up the heads of the people in front of you and get you caught. Most point and shoot camera flashes are only effective up to 10- 15 feet anyway. The best thing to do is utilize the no-flash button on your camera and use a high- speed film (at least 400...Fuji 800 provides great quality even though it is a higher speed film.)

If you have or can get a camera with a built in zoom, this will bring Whitney closer to you, but will make the need for higher speed film even greater as camera shake is more likely. 1600 speed film (Fuji) is great if you don't plan to make enlargements, but stick with 800 if enlargements are a possibility.

If you need help determining what you can do with your specific camera, e-mail me and I will try my best to help you get great pics of Nippy.

P.S. Use a name- brand film and a quality lab for processing (You get what you pay for) GOOD LUCK!!
