Whitney Houston will launch her World Tour '99 with a special Oprah Winfrey Show scheduled to air nationally on June 21st, 1999, the eve of her opening performance in Chicago at the Aire Crown Theater.

A July 3rd engagement at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark has just been added to the U.S. tour. International concert dates have been announced that will encompass 29 shows in 15 countries commencing on August 22 in Gdansk, Poland and ending in Kiev, Ukraine on October 9th.
