German TV ARD just aired the 1999 Bambi Awards. Whitney was the last performer of the 2 hour show. She wore a shining, very tight olive green dress, performed a very "jazzy" version of MLIYL followed by ILFTB. She was the only performer who was allowed to do two songs. Celine Dion only was allowed to sing one! When receiving the award, she thanked:

1. God
2. Jesus
3. Arista
4. Clive Davis
5. Her family
6. Two men who accompanied her during the tour and "recorded every day on film!!!"
She also sang an a capella "Happy Birthday" for one of her friends.
7. The German fans with the words "I love you all and I promise I will be back very soon!"

Whitney performed at the Bambi Awards. First she sang MLIYL (she did it perfect, wonderful voice) and then ILFTB. After that, she told the band that she loved them and she wished them a safe flight back. And then she added that she'd be soon back in Germany!

As she received the award she thanked: God, Jesus, Arista and of course Clive Davis, her whole family, her German fans and Rudi for traveling all over Europe with her to "document everything they did." When she was holding the award she said: "My daughter is going to love that. In the afterward she said she just wanted to go home to her daughter and be a housewife until the New Year and then do new things.
