Whitney won the Best R'n'B award at the MTV Europe Music Awards tonight. She accepted the award from Mary J. Blige and went to the podium and sang the last line of INRBIO in line with the backing music. She was dressed in her recently concert-sported Michael Jackson outfit, hat and all. It was very similar to the IYBT video, only without the perm! Whitney performed in a sparkling, leathery purple, shirt and trousers. She did a bit of her concert routine, with a Get It Back intro, leading into the Caribbean style My Love Is Your Love and the Wyclef remix version.

Damon Albarn from Blur and Mary J. Blige announced the winner of the Best R地達. Whitney Houston won the battle for the prize against Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Jennifer Lopez and TLC: "First I壇 like to thank God for this honour, my Lord Saviour Jesus, thank you BMG, thank you Arista Records, thank you to all my staff. I壇 like to thank my fans, because your love is my love, really," she said. " I am collecting this award for all the R地達 ladies, the TRUE R地達 ladies of soul. Thank you very much, goodbye." She later performed a medley of her hits including 閃y Love Is Your Love.'
