Miss Houston, we have a problem.

What you did to me and 9,000 other die-hard fans in San Francisco last Sunday was Not Right, and definitely Not OK. Here I thought you were Saving All Your Love For Me but instead I ended up checking myself into the Heartbreak Hotel.

It was supposed to be a Miracle, spending just a few moments with you. When I saw the advertisement on the Platinum Club website to go on a summer travel package to meet you and sit in the front row of three concerts, I thought it was too good to be true.

Apparently it was.

Minutes before your show, the final show on the U.S. leg of your 1999 My Love is Your Love tour, the dream of 41 of your biggest fans quickly became a nightmare as we were told the shocking news: you were ill.

Sick again? You were just sick two weeks ago, cancelling two shows in Memphis and St. Louis. You were also sick two weeks before that in Washington D.C. and your own hometown, Newark, New Jersey.

We had travelled from all over the world - Japan, England, Norway, Germany even Iowa! -- just for that One Moment In Time with you. We all spent thousands of dollars to meet you, our Greatest Love of All.

But All at Once, 14 years of my life blew up in my face. This latest cancellation in your recent hit-and-miss career made national news. People all over the world are So Emotional wondering How Will We Know if you really love us.

I caught a glimmer of hope at your two spectacular shows in Los Angeles last week but the bubble burst two days later in San Francisco.

I don't know what to think about your recent, erratic behavior. One day you are the sweet '80s pop princess who just wants to Dance With Somebody. The next you are all 90's diva pomp and circumstance, cancelling shows and letting down the very people who made you. Is that what being Every Woman is all about? If you don't believe me, you should log on to what used to be the Whitney Worshipers Paradise (www.whitney-fan.com) and read what it has become: a hate-spewing battleground for all the Broken Hearts destroyed by your flippant and uncaring attitude.

The reports say you cancelled the show an hour beforehand. It was more like 15 minutes. Many people had already traveled to the venue, paid for parking and bought their souvenirs. They were all Waiting to Exhale. Instead, we all went home wondering in disbelief if you will ever Get it Back.

You have repeatedly asked us to stay out of Your Business, but your recent actions deserve answers.

Explain it to the 5-year-old who spent weeks learning your new songs only to sit in the front row in tears.

Explain it to the woman who traveled all the way from Norway to meet her singing idol, only to go home with nothing but a bunch of useless souvenirs.

Explain it to me, who built a life of singing around your once awe-inspiring example. I was ready to tell you how much you had changed my life. Now I have to tell you Why It Hurts So Bad.

I thought I Would Always Love You, Whitney, but I pulled the curtain open and I don't like what I see.

Until You Come Back to the people who worship you and explain what is going on, I Bow Out.
