I was at the press conference.

I was at the press conference. I am a journalist from Belgium, and also a big Whitney fan.

I don't have much time, i'll mail more later. First, Clive Davis introduced the album number by number. Whitney sounds great (of course), and there is a whole new feel to her music: more hip hop, more Fugees-like. Great songs, modern, with an edge, just one typical ballad (the duet). But there are sure to be some hits on this album, probably the title track.

Then Whitney came herself, said hello to her mother who was sitting among the journalists. She thanked all the collaborators on the album, then the photographers did their job.

Half an hour later, the official press conference started, and we could ask her questions for about 15 minutes. To be brief: she's very proud about the album, everything with Bobby is fine, she asks the press to be more considerate of her family and she is not going to tour next year. She's gonna try for another baby and is going to do the movie with Will Smith next year.

Afterwards she autographed pictures. We all got a goody bag with official press releases and stunning new photographs (well, the one that's on the cover of the album, both in color and in black and white). I was in the front row, trying to ask questions ans staring at her the whole while.

every time she caught my eye, she smiled at me. Afterwards, she gave me a big, BIG smile when i asked her for an autograph and gave me a playful stroke on my hand. She is incredibly beautiful in real life, definitely the most stunning woman i have ever met.
