Whitney Houston to release new album, first in 8 years
submitted by: Chantal K.

In has been a long eight years since we have been offered a studio album from the incomparable Whitney Houston. But the time has arrived as Arista Records will release her fourth studio album on November 17 entitled My Love Is Your Love.

Houston has had other albums out in the stores in those eight years, they have all been soundtrack-related releases. This will be her first, truly, new music studio album in eight years.

The new album features some of the top songwriters and producers including Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and David Foster.

The album contains 12 new cuts which are as diverse as Houstons five-octave range is. David Foster produced a classic Whitney straight-from-the-heart ballad, I Learned From The Best. This cut was written by Grammy award winner Diane Warren. Warren also wrote You'll Never Stand Alone which is produced by Babyface.

Faith Evans and Kelly Price join Whitney on the funky Heartbreak Hotel. And let us not forget the incredible Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey collaboration When You Believe from the Prince of Egypt, which was produced by Babyface.

Check back at theEnews.com on November 5 for a special unveiling of the album.
