Ted Casablanca's normally awful "Awful Truth" gossip page states Mariah acted sisterly to Whitney at the recording, but bitchy to the studio crew because she knew her "over-produced" vocals could not match the "lung power" of Whitney Houston. According to Ted's report, he and another person have listened to the song and Whitney gives one of her most memmorable performances to date, while Mariah sounds like a choir back-up singer. He gives 1 off-color remark about Whitney and wigs, but otherwise this is a slam-dunk victory for Whitney!!!
