Here's an article I found on Billboard Magazine's web site about the "Prince of Egypt" animated feature film. Notice, it doesn't mention Whitney at all:

Label Dreams Up 3 'Prince Of Egypt' Albums

The upcoming DreamWorks animated film "The Prince Of Egypt" will be accompanied by not only a soundtrack but two "inspired-by" compilations featuring mostly new material from top acts. All three DreamWorks Records sets are tentatively scheduled for November release.

Billboard Bulletin reports that the soundtrack will include six new songs from the movie by lyricist Stephen Schwartz ("Pocahontas") and composer Hans Zimmer ("The Lion King"). One compilation, a country set, features Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Clint Black, Wynonna, Martina McBride, Pam Tillis, Faith Hill, Alison Krauss, Gary Chapman, and others.
The album is executive-produced by DreamWorks Records Nashville head James Stroud. The other compilation, an R&B and gospel collection, includes Boyz II Men, Kirk Franklin, dc Talk, Take 6, Jars Of Clay, Shirley Caesar, and Fred Hammond. It is executive-produced by Buster & Shavoni.

The film -- which is about two men, one born a prince, the other born a slave -- is scheduled to open Dec. 18; it features the voices of Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Sandra Bullock, and Danny Glover, among others.
