Rachel's Report MTV Video Music Awards - Sept. 10/98 at 8PM. WH + MC were the first people to present an award -- the "best male video" award. Ben Stiller (did you know his dad is the actor who played George's dad on Seinfeld?) presented the presenters as "here is on of the best singers in the world..." Out comes WH down a staircase, wearing a brown gown with a REALLT low-cut top. The gown was dragging on the floor. Everyone was clapping for WH.

Then out came MC from the other side of the stage, wearing the same dress as WH.

WH + MC both approached the podium and the 'conversed' on how great the other one looked. It was obvious that MC dawned extra-high-sole/heal shoes to look almost as tall as WH. MC's shoes were the Spice Girl type (which I happen to H8). And then MC says "but I cam prepared" and removes the bottom part of her dress, showing -- in typical MC-style -- her legs and thighs.

Then WH did the same thing, only you could see WH's knees, but not her thighs.

The difference between WH + MC's attire didn't stop there... you could clearly see WH's strapless bra. In all honesty, MC's top looked much better than WH's... (but WH's legs beat MC's in a heartbeat.) I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw WH's white bra showing during her entire segment... It stuck out like a sore thumb.

Anyways, if this is an omen -- and I think it is -- I think I'm gonna cry... in fact, I'm on the verge of tears right now... could this be the beginning of the end? Will try try to keep up w/ MC by dressing 'sluttier'? Is this supposed to be part of WH's new 'hip-hop' image? I am sooooooo upset over this.
