On page 25 they talk about the Dove Awards and they said that "A highlight of the evening was Houston's rousing, soulful performance of the song I go to the rock, which garnered her an honor." Then they have a picture of her really putting her all into the song. The caption says " Superstar singer-actress Whitney Houston delivers a soul-stirring rendition of 'I Go To the Rock' at the recent Dove Awards at the Nashville Arena in Nashville, TN. Houston won an award, best traditional gospel song of the year for the tune." Then on page 55 there is another picture where it says that "famed singer-actress Whitney Houston is still known as 'Nippy', a moniker given to her by her father, John Houston." In the actual artical it says " gospel veteran Cissy Houston reveals in her autobiography, "How Sweet The Sound: My Life With God And Gospel", with Jonathan Singer, that her daughter, Whitney Houston, was given the nickname Nippy by her father, John Houston. 'He would put her in the carriage, put a blanket over her and wheel her out to the porch. She was so feisty that despite the cold she would kick the blankets off and keep John running back and forth, trying to keep her covered and warm,' wrote cissy in her book. "She reminded him of a comic strip character from the old Journal-American, a character that was forever getting into trouble. 'Nippy-seldom right,' the slogan went. The nickname stuck."
