Finally, there are parties and then there are parties.

This bash is still two months away, yet Michael Jackson and date Elizabeth Taylor, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Stevie Wonder, Ben Affleck and Larry King already have confirmed their attendance.

Of course, it helps that the party is in the Bahamas, at Royal Towers of Atlantis, Sol Kerzner's gleaming new $450 million resort on Paradise Island. The event is being staged with the help of New York party planner Colin Cowie and will take place the weekend of Dec. 12.

One of the resort's biggest attractions, I hear, is what the hotel calls its Mayan Temple, a six-story Lucite-enclosed water chute that tumbles you through a shark tank and into the swimming pool.

Last one in is a rotten egg.
