Hi fellow Whitney fans!

Wanted to relate the following story to you: on 11/19/97, I sent a Thanksgiving Card w/a long note inside telling WH how much I appreciate her & a donation check to the Foundation. Well, as of 2/10/98, the check has never cleared the bank so I e-mailed the Foundation but never heard back from them (they read the e-mail 1/30 or 31).

So I called their toll-free # & spoke w/a very nice lady who sd any mail that comes from fans gets sent to the Fan Club in CA(I sent it to the Foundation in NJ) - she told me to stop payment on the check & said Whitney doesn't get to see the mail from the Fan Club.

I let her know the Fan Club has a problem getting the newsletters out(I e-mailed them weeks ago & today got Newsletters Vol 2, Issue 4 & Vol 3, Issue 1-those of you who have trouble getting yours I advise to e-mail the Fan Club also). She told me I could send the donation to the Foundation to her attention & I asked if WH would get to see the card I sent - she said that she would give it to her.

I called my bank to stop payment on the old check, then called the Fan Club to see if they had the letter/check-a very nice gentleman there told me they have bags of mail from months back, & he even checked the bag forwarded to them from the NJ address to find my letter but there were so many he couldn't find it right away - I asked if they forwarded the mail to Whitney & he sd yes, that they would send back the bag from NJ to NJ.

Wonder what the real deal is? In any event, I'm sending a new donation & letter of appreciation(it won't continue all my "Whitney worries" that I e-mailed you w/within the last few weeks-it's a letter of thanks & encouragement) to the attention of the lady I spoke w/at the Foundation in NJ & hope it gets to WH.
