Important Notice

Rescently, it's been brought to my attention that Alanis Morissette has "tied" Whitney Houston's record for best selling debut album ever. I would like to clear up this misconception: Alanis Morrissette already has 2 albums to her credit. They were released in the early nineties and were semi-successful in her native Canada. So this whole "Alanis sells more than Whitney" thing is a fraud! Don't buy into it! Whitney is THE QUEEN OF POP and no one else has or will ever come close to beating her record.
I just thought I'd let all you Whitney fans know the truth.

Subject: More False Whitney Data
I would like to do the same about another record fallacy. Vibe magazine printed an article about Mariah Carey that said that she was the greatest selling female artist of the 1990's. This is only a half truth. Remember! All of Carey's 5 albums were released after 1990. Only 2 albums (I'm Your Baby Tonight, and The Bodygaurd Soundtrack) were released by Whitney Houston.

What it boils down to is that Whitney has still sold millions more albums than Mariah Carey, and Whitney has only released 3 full albums!
