A spokesman of the financial group Alpha Bank, principal sponsor of performances of the North American singer in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, said the money will be given to a fund created for the victims of the terrorist act, that caused at least 39 deaths and injured more than 100 people. Whitney Houston offers her second and last concert today in the State Palace of the Kremlin. Last Sunday she performed in Saint Petersburg, where, like in Moscow, it has been a great success. The organizers of Houston's performances in Moscow have indicated the earnings for her two performances in the State Palace of the Kremlin, with capacity for about 6000 spectators. The tickets became exhausted days ago. The tickets for today's performance cost between the 800 and 60000 rubles (or almost 23 to 2100 dollars), whereas the singer will charge next to a million dollars for her concerts in Russia. Three years ago Houston may have made her debut in Russia, but she cancelled her tour due to the "unstable situation" in the country, the organizers said.
