Whitney's Authorized Bash submitted by: Lisa D. source: Atlanta Journal and Constitution Date: August 7, 2003 It's not always fun to have both an e-mail and a voice mail from a local superstar's attorney awaiting you at Buzz Central. Thankfully, Mark Trigg, a Greenberg Traurig lawyer and Whitney Houston's local legal representative, is a Buzz fan. He saw our item in Wednesday's space detailing the "unfortunate" unauthorized Houston birthday bash held Monday night in Buckhead. Trigg said his client wanted to clear up any potential confusion about a legit birthday party she and hubby Bobby Brown are throwing Saturday night at Taboo Bar & Bistro on Roswell Road. "Miss Houston wanted fans who receive an invitation to Saturday's event to know that it is indeed an authorized function," Trigg told us. According to folks at Taboo, no start time or admission price had been finalized by press time Wednesday. And yes, Houston's 40th b-day blowout is open to the public.
