Comprised of New Jersey-born sisters and cousins Notasha, Tawanda, Tiffany, Stacey and Shakira, SUNDAY is managed by Robyn Crawford and Whitney Houston. The first single, "I Know" is bulleted on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales chart this week at #30, and also bullets onto the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales Charts at #9 following a performance at last week's "R&B Jam" all-star concert at Madison Square Garden, sponsored by New York radio station KISS-FM and featuring other performers such as Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child, Sisqo and The Temptations. The group's forthcoming self-titled debut, which will feature the groups "R&B, pop and rock with a Gospel feel" sound, is scheduled for release in March 2001.
