Jodeci's Dalvin at Hugh Hefner's mansion -- What a night!
...Cassandra [Mills, Dalvin DeGrate's manager] was told that Hugh mostly
allows only charitable events to be held at his home. Also, he does not
attend every event, so it was quite an honor that he opened up the mansion
and was also there to support Dalvin. He's even notified Cassandra's office
that he would attend when he heard that people like Whitney and Bobby Brown
would attend. Bobby had a good ol' time. He talked business with his old
producer, Louil Silas, about working on his next album. It was Louil who
put together Bobby's most successful album, Don't Be Cruel. Whitney
was ready to leave right after the [Dalvin's] performance. She said, "Jamie,
would you please get my husband to leave. I've got to be up by 9:30 tomorrow.
We're having a birthday party for Bobbi Kris." So I made it happen!
A teeny-weeny birthday with Bobbi Kris, Whitney and Bobby Brown
... I went to Bright Child's in Santa Monica to celebrate little Bobbi Kristina's
birthday party. It was wild in there with all those kids. Whitney's closest
family and handlers were there...
Bobby and Whitney can never have peace. When we left the party, two White
guys lurked on the sidewalk, waiting to pounce. One was a scout and the
other a paparazzi trying to get a picture of the happy couple. Bobby and
Whitney are so used to it. A bit later when we saw Bobby driving away
in the car, we told him about the paparazzi and he smiled right away and
asked, "Well, did he get a good shot?"
Little Bobbi Kris is something else. With all the attention and adulation
heaped upon her constantly, she is still very gracious. She had on three
bracelets. I asked for one. She immediately took it off and gave it to
me. I gave it back.
The guests heaped many Barbie dolls on little Bobbi. She accepted them gratefully,
even though I understand she has a room full of them.
