BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2000--Celebrating a quarter century of contributions to the international music business, dick clark productions inc. (Nasdaq:DCPI) will produce a two-hour prime-time television tribute to the Arista Records music label and its founder, Clive Davis.

Called "25 Years of No. 1 Hits: Arista Records' Anniversary Celebration," the show will be taped on April 10, 2000, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for telecast in May on NBC.

The special will feature historic film clips as well as live performances by artists on the Arista label and other music superstars. Artists scheduled to appear include Whitney Houston, Santana, Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Kenny G, Barry Manilow, Deborah Cox, Carly Simon and Brooks & Dunn.

Dick Clark is executive producer. Barry Adelman and Larry Klein are producers. Jack Seifert is executive in charge of production. Francis C. La Maina is executive in charge.
