WHITNEY HOUSTON MEETS STONES submitted by: Erick P. date: July 24/98 from: NOW Magazine I read a short article at NOW magazine, published in England on July 24th., about Nippy's visit at Stonehenge, the pre-historical site in south-west England. This place has old stones put in a circle, and apart of its cultural importance, it is visited by lots of tourists, but common people are not able to touch the stones. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner to send you the pictures showed at the magazine, but I'll give a short description of them in brackets. I don't know if she has done other touristic visits during her europe tour, but it is really strange seeing her as a tourist. Obviously, I think that they closed the place specially for her. WHITNEY HOUSTON MEETS STONES Soul star Whitney Houston met the oldest rock star of them all on a visit to Stonehenge. She took her daughter Bobbie Christina Brown, aged five, to the historic site at Salisbury, Wiltshire, and spent 30 minutes walking around the monument. Whitney, 34, spoke on her mobile phone to her brother in America for nearly the whole of her visit, while at the same time touching the ancient slabs. "She seemed totally amazed and kept telling her brother how the stones felt", said one onlooker. Picture one: "Whitney gets on the phone to her brother in the United States" (she is handing a Coca Cola, and wearing jeans, a white cotton sweater, sunglasses, and a colorful hut) Picture two: "The soul star shows daughter Bobbie around the ancient site - and she's still on the phone" (I cannot see Bobbi Chris face, because she has a black line on it) Picture three: "You just don't get craftsmanship like this any more, Whitney tells her brother" (Nippy is touching one stone, and she is still on the phone!?!?!?!!?)
