    NEW YORK, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Following its May 16th in-store date on Arista Records, the 2-CD/2-cassette WHITNEY - THE GREATEST HITS has posted a first week Soundscan figure of 157,768 units, bulleting onto the Billboard 200 album chart at #5, Billbo ard R&B chart at #3, and the Billboard DVD/VHS chart at #1.

    At the same time, "Could I Have This Kiss Forever," Whitney's duet with Enrique Iglesias, is the #1 most-added record at top 40 and A/C (Adult Contemporary) radio, according to music industry trade paper R&R. The music video is being filmed this week.

    Internationally, GREATEST HITS made its debut at #1 on the U.K. national album chart. "If I Told You That," the new duet with George Michael, is #1 most-added record at radio across Europe and the video was shot last week in New York.

    Whitney is also set to shoot videos for "Same Script, Different Cast" her new duet with Arista artist Deborah Cox that is exploding at R&B radio and has been described as "an instant classic."
