WYB is placed #2 on the MTV European Top 20. I think it will hit the top this week,
because "Believe" from Cher falls everywhere (that's now at no.1) in Europe.:-)

There is good news for Whitney on the Billboard charts for the week ending February 6, 1999. On the Hot R&B Singles and Tracks, "Heartbreak Hotel" breaks into the top 10 to land at No. 6. Over on the Adult Contemporary list, "When You Believe" FINALLY sees upward movement and slides up from No. 4 to No. 3. Additionally, "It's Not Right But It's Okay" shows real staying power, as it remains at No. 1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play tally for the third consecutive week! (submitted by: Rob N.) Billboard updates for the week ending February 6, 1999: MLIYL slips to #34 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. Hope that the good chart performances of HH and INRBIOK will help to garner greater album sales in the coming weeks. Billboard chart for the week ending January 23, 1999: Latest chart news from billboard.com: When you really believe: The latest single from Whitney has skyrocked up the charts. Her duet with Mariah Carey has leaped nearly 40 spots from 64 all the way up to #25. And, by the way, Whitney Houston is listed first. This is her second best showing for a duet. Ms. Houston & Cece climbed to #7 with "Count on me". (submitted by: Laurent N.) With the availability of a commercial single, "When You Believe" takes a 39-spot jump from No. 64 to No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending January 23, 1999. Well, Deborah Cox is flexing muscle on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles and Tracks chart (for the week ending January 16, 1999), as "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here" holds on to the No. 1 spot for the 11th week in a row, tying "I Will Always Love You" as the lo ngest-running No. 1 R&B single by a female artist in the modern era. (submitted by: Rob N.) Just as the Hot 100 underwent changes at the beginning of this (chart) year, the Hot R&B Singles was revamped and renamed the Hot R&B Singles and Tracks. This change took place during the week ending January 2, 1999, the week that Billboard magazine does not publish an issue. However, the charts are still compiled due to the 24/7 monitoring of sales and airplay by SoundScan and Broadcast Data Systems, respectively. On the new R&B chart songs are given points based on a 70%airplay/30% sales criteria, a shi ft from the 60/40 ratio which was used to compile both the Hot R&B and Hot 100 Singles charts (note: the Billboard Hot 100 now utilizes a 75/25 ratio). With these alterations, songs such as "When You Believe" which are not released commercially, can now c hart providing they reach the top 75 of the Hot R&B Airplay chart. Similarly, radio-only tracks cannot enter the Billboard Hot 100 unless they climb into the top 75 of the Hot 100 Airplay chart. So, this is the reason why one can find "When You Believe", "Heartbreak Hotel", and "It's Not Right But It's Okay" on the revamped R&B chart. Also, because "Heartbreak Hotel" will indeed be released as a commercial single, it will benefit from sales points and hopefully climb to No. 1on both Hot 100 and Hot R&B Si ngles and Tracks. Additionally, the new R&B chart now includes all 100 of the top R&B markets in the U.S., which translates to over 1,100 stores monitored by SoundScan.
