Bobby Brown's Battery Case Dropped
submitted by: Rhonda

Bobby Brown has a less legal problem to worry about. The misdemeanor sexual battery case against Whitney Houston's less-than-law-abiding husband has been dropped by prosecutors, reportedly because of insufficient evidence.

Brown was placed under arrest for investigation of sexual battery on June 21, at the Tony Beverly Hills Hotel after a complaint by a unidentified young woman, who reportedly accused the "My Prerogative"singer of slapping her on her behind. Details on the incident are still hard to come by, but police describe the charges as "unlawful touching for the purpose of sexual arousal." "I wouldn't hurt nobody". Brown told reportors after being arrested. "I wouldn't touch nobody"

Brown and Houston are currently facing scandal involving an alleged rape at their New Jersey mansion. Neither was home at the time of the attack supposedly took place.
