I just found out that TM3 shows the Oprah Winfrey Show with Whitney on Sunday August 1st at
12:30AM in Germany! I wanted to add it to the list but I can't get a password so it would be great
if you did to inform all the other German fans who are burning to see the show.

Hi there! Today's Life section of USA Today
listed the nominations for the 1999 MTV Music
Awards, which were announced Wednesday in New
York. Whitney is nominated for R&B video of the
year. (I imagine it must be HH, since WYB and
INRBIOK aren't really original, and MLIYL hasn't
been aired on MTV at the time of the announcement.
Personally, I feel both HH and MLIYL are
beautiful videos and either would win hands down.)

A BIG LIE! CE N'EST PAS VRAI! NON E VERO! According to "Top of the Pops" Whitney will release an album in Spanish language in the near future for her longtime fans in South America. Is this really true? What comes next? The greatest hits album, the film "Anything for you" or the spanish album? I can't wait for all of them! (submitted by: Simon S.) Whitney was featured on VH1 "100 Greatest Women of Rock." She placed as #61 (or #60). BIG FAT WHATEVER! They showed great footage of her singing at awards shows, etc., as well as comments about her from the likes of Brandy, Cissy Houston, Dionne Warwick, and others whom I cannot recall right now. A BIG LIE! CE N'EST PAS VRAI! NON E VERO! According to an Italian journalist on VIVA TV, Whitney wants to record an album in Spanish for her Latin-american fans. I went to the NYC Whitney Houston concert last week and I'll be on MTV ALL
ACCESS Whitney Houston for all of 4 seconds towards the end of the program.
Set your VCRs cause you'll miss me just watching. I'm next to a guy who
said "WHITNEY YOU ARE THE BEST I LOVE YOU SO, SO MUCH!" I have on a peach
shirt on the right!!!

I was scouting through my cd collection when i
came across an old Annie Lennox cd single called
precious and low and behold on the b side is a
rare finding of step by step.I've been wanting to
hear the lennox version for ages and I actually
have it.The verses have been totally re
written...all that is the same is the chorus and
the bridge but over all its a good
version....although no where near as good as
whitney's.

I was just told by a fellow whitney fan that she
is to do a latin cd. I don't know if it is true,
but she said she heard it on TRL from MTV. So

Anyway, to get to the point, the magazine was making up its own awards, "The XXL Awards"- The Awards For People Who Should Get Them, something like that. It had categories like, Producer of the Year- Whoever really produced "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill", Worst Rap Artist- Harlem World, and a category that was called "The Ol' Dirty Bastard Lifetime Achievement Award, that award went to- Whitney Houston! WH WEBMASTER DIES. I have NO good notice for you. You know Rodrigo Cardoso - Whitney's brasilian fan - President of the Whitney Houston Forever Fan club. He died during a shooting between the police and thief-of-cars in July 15, 1999. He was arrived at a bullet-lost. I am so sad. He was a big friend in Brazil. (submitted by: Ricardo R.)

According to The Record, Bergen County, NJ, Wednesday, July 14th - Concert Refunds. Refunds will now be issued for the Whitrney Houston concert at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center that was canceled July 3 due to illness. Ticket holders were originally instructed to keep their tickets but the date could not be rescheduled this summer. Refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase. According to Daily Variety 7/15/99, Army Archer reports that Whitney Houston and the team that produced "Cinderella" are gearing up to take the production on the road.
