I am still on a high after last night's concert, but this morning, I got the Toronto Sun w/ WH on the cover and I read the review and I just think this Jane Stevenson character is soooooo off and I am really upset at her review. Did you see Oprah Winfrey on the Dutch TV-channel RTL 4, last friday? It was a show about stars that have been on the Oprah show since the beginning of it. They also showed pieces of Whitney and Mariah, Bobby Brown, AND Bobbi Kris! Seems like Whitney had an interview with Kris, in a break of the last show Whitney appeared in. Kris had a little interview with Oprah. They talked about what K. did on school. Kris was a little shy, but she was also really cute. (submitted by: Foekje A.)

According to MTV News, on June 27, 1999, Whitney and Bobby was in New York City for a gay and lesbian rally. She performed two songs for them, "Heartbreak Hotel" and "It's Not Right But It's Ok." WH pics from Det. 6/26/99 I just thought I'd share with everyone the pictures that I took at the Detroit Concert. They are from June 26th, I didn't think to take my camera in on the 25th. This was Whitney singing INRBIO as an encore. The shows were spectacular! I might take a road trip to see her in a different city, it's well worth it! I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do! A friend of mine told me she was listening to radio today and they announced that after 6 years without a big music event, Rio de Janeiro will have Rock In Rio in January. Some names were announced as almost confirmed. Here they are: Backstreet Boys, Savage Garden, Blur, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Now a dream come true. Can you imagine seeing Whitney and Mariah at the same night, paying one ticket? But I doubt that if they both come they'll perform at the same night. MTV News Ten minutes to the hour showed Whitney today at the chicago concer. They showed a part of Get It Back and she sounded amazing!!! And looked amazing in D&G with fur around the collar. She was coming down the stairs singing with the dancers in front of her. (submitted by: Dave W.)

Tonight, on Access Hollywood, Whitney's opening night in Chi-Town was highlighted. Clips from the concert were shown as well as Whitney backstage showing off some of her vast wardrobe. Some fans proclaimed this as the best concert ever. Saying Whitney was in top quality. She looked and sounded gorgeous. A Chicago newspaper quoted the concert as a treat, and the highlight came when Bobbi-Kristina joined mommy on stage for a number. They went on to say that she was touring 16 concerts before going overseas. On a personal note, if you are lucky enough to go, give her a cheer on my behalf. INRBIO is the number one selling single in Ithaca, NY (home of Cornell University). It gets NO airplay here, but the single is discounted to $1.99 and is selling fast in both record stores in town. The maxi single sold out weeks ago.

Chris S. from Switzerland has sent me a full report [it was bound and had a plastic cover and everything!!!] on the Nippy New Year's Day Convention last December 1998.

WH's first Jet Magazine covers + articles from 1986. She was 22 and she looks so innocent.

I heard on the radio today that the MLIYL single is tipped for the top in the UK next week. I think this is quite possible cos its getting huge airplay and its a great song. (submitted by: BMC)

On page 72 of Entertainment Weekly magazine, there is a cartoon drawing of WH, Cher and Celine. Whitney is in front and the others are behind her, just proves that whitney is the NUMBER 1 DIVA. And also E! entertainment reported that Whitney was to star in the Disney movie "Sleeping Beauty" for ABC a follow up to the smash "Cinderella" production is set to start production later this year after her tour. According to the Associated Press: Strike One for the WH World Tour. Looks like once again Bobby Brown is raining on Nippy's parade. A warrant has been issued for Bobby's arrest by a Florida judge in connection with his earlier drunken driving sentence he recieved after wrecking Whitney's Porsche. Bobby violated his parole... In April, cocaine showed up in a urine test, he refused to take another in May. He will not serve jail time unless he returns to Florida and is arrested. Officers will not attempt to extradite him from New Jersey. If he is arrested, he could serve up to 90 days in jail.

Guess what the import CD for MLIYL single is out and selling like HOT cake.Available at Virgin Megastore. This is not a good idea cause by the time the single is released here in US it wont sell as much. Cause everyone will have that CD by then, also due to the cheapness of Arista they would probably release the same mixes or CD without any changes. Q: Why did WH's album sales jump all of a sudden in Germany? I mean, a BIG jump from 40+ to the Top Ten.
A: The album sales of MLIYL increased because of the single MLIYL. Just like when INRBIO was released in Germany the album jumped from somewhere between 40 and 50 back in the top 10. Yesterday I went shopping and MLIYL (the single) was sold out everywhere, I couldn't find a single copy in any huge store. That's a good sign! (submitted by: Claudia B.)

I just saw the Oprah preview for Monday's show. Whitney looked AMAZING. She was wearing a tight fitting fine stapped jeweled tank top with what looked like some funky capri pants. Her hair was in that classic bob she has been sporting lately. She said "Whitney doesn't cook!" she mentioned she was working on a new baby while looking down her top through her cleavage. When asked about if she is hard to get along with, she made a face but they didn't show the answer. They also showed what to be a photo shoot where Whitney has several costume changes and really cool poses. The clothing looked amazing, she is definately going Hote-couture. I heard twice today (on the radio?) that Missy's song "She's a Bitch" is about our girl WH. Apparently it is not meant in a bad way but in a proud way. It is alleged that her sessions with Whitney wer so inspiring, it appears Whithey was very forthright and very detailed oriented in the studio right down to the positioning of the mike. These are all characteristics that are associated with being a bitch and she thought it was amazing. I have know idea where, if and when this was said. I heard it from a girl at work today who is a big fan of Missy and then I heard them joking about it on the radio. Thought you would find it a hoot!
