According to CNN, the Titanic soundtrack is now the best selling movie soundtrack of all time with one billion (yes, billion) copies worldwide. (submitted by: Nicole)

Just a quick correction from news submitted earlier about the Titanic Soundtrack. The movie has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide but, according to Billboard Magazine, the Titanic Soundtrack has only sold 10 million units. Even if these are only U.S. figures, the worldwide sales can't even be close to one billion copies. Rest assure WH fans, the Bodyguard Soundtrack is still the best selling soundtrack of all time with a total of 34 million units worldwide. Don't believe everything you hear! (submitted by: Brad H.)

Last week's issue of Billboard Magazine featured Kelly Price in a section called Air Waves. She spoke about recording with WH and talked about it being not only a thrill, but like a giant slumber party. She says, " Whitney told us we needed to have an all-girls weekend, so she, Faith, and I left our men at home and went down to her condo in Miami. It was like 'Waiting to Exhale' all over. We talked about men, our children, carpooling, wiping runny noses. I had a lot of fun . . . It was also amazing singing with her; she's someone I've been listening to all my life. The latest news on the Bodyguard sequel is that Fergie will appear in it. I found this article on the BBC Radio 1 Website: Fergie Will be in Bodyguard Sequel ! According to Kevin Costner: Kevin Costner is apparently going around telling his Hollywood friends that he's persuaded Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York to take a role in his sequel to the ‘Bodyguard’! However, it was Costner who announced that he had persuaded Diana, Princess of Wales to star in this same movie - an announcement he made only after Diana's death. My favourite remix! I got a remix of HWIK/IWDWS which was made back in the 1980s (as anyone can guess by it's ORIGINALITY). This is the funniest remix ever! According to USA Today: Turner, Houston plan 'Divas' sequel
Tina Turner joins Whitney Houston as the first two stars announced for VH1 Divas Live '99, the sequel to the 1998 live diva-fest that scored the music network's highest ratings ever and spawned a triple-platinum CD. Whitney made me late for work today. I was walking out the door when I saw Clive Davis walking around a room with a video camrea. Whitney en France! This will be the definitine Whitney Houston week here in France. On the 27th, the Brits will air at 23h35 on M6. Then on Friday the 5th She will be on the show "Les Années Tubes", TF1. She will perform Heartbreak Hotel and there will be an interview. Check "Excusif ce soir" there will probably be a report on this show as those programs are both broadcasted on the same channel. There's an interview of our diva on TELE STAR where she speaks of Madonna as a " mockery of a woman, a bad erotic comic strip character". On the same magazine there's a pic of Whitney during the show, large smile and black leather jacket. According to the biggest german nwespaper BILD, about 18 million people watches Nippy in "Wetten Dass" on Saturday. They write that she was late in arriving on the set, but saved face by looking so good looking in her breath-taking black leather dress. Whitney on "Wetten Dass": after about 2 hours of waiting Whitney came out on stage singing INRBIO. She was beautiful as always but she looked so tired. Whitney was in the Radio 2 studios this morning (20.2.99) for an interview on the Steve Wright show. I tuned in to hear the end of INRBIO and Whitney being interviewed. I had no idea she was going to be on, did anyone tape the whole thing? I got a bit but it sounded like they'd been talkng for a while. They didn't really discuss anything new; Whitney talked about the coat hanger thing from when she was a kid, (again?!) about the Brits, and about her family life. She was very relaxed and friendly though which was great. She came across really well and let's hope all this promotion puts the album up above its peak of #27 anytime soon! (submitted by: Chris)

According to HMV, record sales of some of the artists connected with this years' Brit awards went up as much as 100-200% the days after the awards (in the UK). At first I didn't even consider this to be Whitney as she wasn't involved in any awards but you never know... how cool would that be??!? Of the dance charts that is " It goes on to talk about the " AMAZING remix " of INRBIO -They also add that the success of this song is helping to bring Whitney's signature Pop/Gospel/R&B(The First Lady of song!) to a whole new generation of clubgoers . The article talks about all of the people that Whitney works with on the latest release but they sum it all with this quote " But in the end it all come down to Whitney Houston's best asset - HER REMARKABLE VOICE !" Sony recording artist KENNY LATTIMORE has expressed intense interest in collaborating vocally with WHITNEY HOUSTON. My insiders tell me that Whitney absolutely loves Kenny's voice and considers him to be, next to Luther, the best male vocalist today. Nice to hear that she shares my sentiments as well! Kenny is busy writing a song for the two of them however, his wish is to remake the Jermaine/Whitney ballad "If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful". My insider says that Kenny and Whitney want to re-record the song for the greatest hits package, instead of placing the original working on the package. However, Jermaine is not cooperating with Arista. You can interpret this any way you like! Whitney has suggested the Johnny Mathis/Deniece Williams "Too Much,Too Little, Too Late" which is a fabulous choice. I was listening to my "light rock" radio station out here in Phoenix, Arizona - 98.7 FM. Casey Kasem's "American Top 20" was playing. And "When You Believe" dropped from No. 4 to No. 6. Then, he played "How Will I Know" about twenty minutes later, saying it was the No. 1 song exactly thirteen years ago. Then, after it was over, the radio station played "I Believe in You and Me".
