This morning on Jammin' 94.5 in Boston, the regular tabloid reporter that calls in from NYC said that she met Bobby Brown yesterday at a restaurant/bar, and they chatted for a few minutes. My source close to Babyface reports that Whitney
and Mariah will be recording their duet in a New
York studio this week. The two singers will
record their vocal tracks separately over a period
of three or four days beginning on Tuesday.

Today monday, July 27 '98 as usual i start my day listening to radio "Doug Banks Show" and not to surprise there happens to be Jermaine Dupri and he was talking about his projects that he is into. Tha real shock came only when he mentioned that he is currently involved in the new WH album that should shock people cause WH will sound as you ve never heard her before he said. He also said that he could not believe of how down to earth she was/is and that he never dreamed of working with her until the phone rang and to hear her saying cmon lets do this. He also said he's worked with BB most of the times doing remixes for his songs. So this leads to the news that her new album will be da bomb. (submitted by: Emanuel) |

Well, I went to the cinema yesterday to see Meg Ryanīs "Town of Angels" and before the Movie starts, they show the forthcoming cine-previews.
They show a peek of "The Prince Of Egypt" and after the peek of the scenes, the storyteller sais "Live to see the greatest adventure of all time with a magic soundtrack features the divas of music, Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey with a special duet. Itīs coming soon"...

"While You Were Going". Yesterday, the played a Whitney Dance-Medley in the Radio feat. "Iīm every woman, Queen of the night and Step by Step" and at the end, they say, Whitney will be coming out w/h a special song, "While you were going" and its taken from her new album. The MNINS single is #72 in the German charts. According to Philipp S., the remixed versions are hot on the air waves and the WOM music store clerk said they are selling like hotcakes!

Check out Manish's pictures from the Aschaffenburg concert! Wow! (submitted by: Carlos C.) In this week's issue of Star magazine, there is a full page story on Whitney and Bobby's reconciliation. It said that Whitney took Bobby back a couple of weeks ago, and that he flew to Europe to be with her while she was on tour. The story featured advice from an advice columnist(basically, it was get rid of him), and three pictures: one of WH & BB in Europe, and two of BB shopping for shoes. They said that he spent $4000 on 40 pairs of shoes for him and Bobbi Kris. REMINDER!!! THIS IS FROM A TABLOID MAGAZINE! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! (submitted by: Nicole) I was at HMV [largest music store chain in Canada] today (the biggest one in Montreal) and I asked them if they had a list of the up- coming releases. Guess what? The new Whitney Houston album (with no title yet) is scheduled to be released for the 15TH SEPTEMBER!!! The only other info is that it's under the label BMG... It was not a very long list so Whitney's album is one of about 50 to 100 releases on the list. Isn't that great!!! That means that the duo with Mariah is probably gonna be on the album too!!! [I know because I worked for 5 years at a record store.] Record companies change release dates more often than you change your underwear. Today on VH1 they did a public decided (meaning
the fans picked) top 10 Diva Count down. I
watched, and Whitney's still got it! She was
#2... ahead of Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Janet
Jackson, Gloria Estephan, Toni Braxton, Areatha
Franklin and others. Madonna was #1, but even so!
Whitney was #2 and they video that they played
was "I'm every Woman" then the host commented on
how great Whitney and the video are, because
Whitney is every woman being pregnant and all in
the video!

As printed in today's (July 21) edition of USA TODAY newspaper, the nominations for the 50th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced this Thursday morning. There will be a live telecast of the news conference to be held in Los Angeles, starting at 8 a.m. eastern time. (Check your local listings). Remember, as co-executive producer and co-star, Whitney Houston was part of the spectacular broadcast of the Rodgers' and Hammerstein classic "Cinderella." With its lavish stage design, multi-cultural theme, and star-studded power, we should expect some BIG nominations for ABC-TV/Disney's ratings blockbuster of a revival. Typhaine, a WH fan from France, has requested that all of you who love WH's version of "I'm Coming Out", the Diana Ross remake, send a letter to Arista asking for it to be included in the upcomming new album.
"My Name is Not Susan" on German charts?!?! Pictures taken by a fan in the front row of the Berlin concert, last month. The other day on Access Hollywood or Extra they were interviewing Brandy and had a short clips of WH on there. She said that during the taping of Cinderella, Brandy was like she felt WH to be her older sister cause WH would tell her how to do things right. WH said that she felt like Brandy's older sister... WHO wouldn't want Nippy a.k.a. Whitney as their sister...... (submitted by: Andrea) Most non-Americans have never seen the AT&T commercial Whitney did in 1993/94. With the video capture card which Rachel is purchasing next week, she will be able to show you what you missed. | Rachel is semi-online today, via an internet cafe in Frankfurt, Germany. Both the Paris and Aschaffenburg concerts rocked. WH cried alot during the Aschaff concert. Nobody knows why. Bobby Brown was at the Paris concert but not at the Aschaff concert. If you know ANYTHING about the goings-on, please e-mail me and I will be back online on July 15th.
