Get Christie Love! If all goes well, Whitney Houston's next film project will find her carrying a badge and a gun. Danny DeVito's Jersey Films is developing a remake of Get Christie Love!, a 1974 television movie that starred Teresa Graves as a beautiful and shapely cop who goes undercover to expose a drug ring. Graves later went on to star in the television series of the same name, which ran from 1974 to 1975. The Houston vehicle would follow the same plot line as the television movie, and the Waiting To Exhale star will likely co-produce with Jersey Films. Get Christie Love! will be based on the novel by Dorothy Uhnak, but no writer is yet attached to the remake. (from CelebritySites.com)
