There is also an article about the CD!! (submitted by: David B.)

Whitney states that the man who wrote this biography about her was never her
bodyguard and she barely even knew him. She says that it is all lies and it
has really shaken her up. So the book is just a bunch of crap, don't anyone
but it!!(submitted by: David C.)
On November 27, Whitney was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey's best friend
Gail on the Oprah Show. It took place at the "50 Years Of Ebony Magazine
Celebration". Here's what she said:
Q: Whay is your favorite memory?
A: When Bobby-Kris was born.
Q: What is your favorite moment?
A: When Bobby and I got [engaged], he gave me a small ring and I thought
it was cute. Then he pulled out a really big one!!! and said, "Do you
want to marry me or not?" :)
Q: What is your fave cereal?
A: Her and Bobby agreed on Fruity Pebbles.

Whitney Houston's heart went into the making of her new movie, The
Preacher's Wife. But she promises us that it's not just the love
story, costarring Denzel Washington, that will lift you up. Whitney pours
her passion into the Preacher's Wife soundtrack. from last night's
Entertainment Tonight.

Whitney was on ET tonight and we finally have an explanation for the PW
sntrk release delay. Whitney decided she needed a 'skating song' (for
when she and Denzel skate together in the movie.) So she called upon
Babyface to help her out. He came up with "My Heart Is Calling". Whitney
recorded it just 4 weeks ago!
Check out this very positive Whitney interview article from USA Today. Whitney
dispells the tabloid lies. (submitted by Devin M.)
Info from Manish:
- "Something Bigger Than You And I" is the second single in the US
from "The Preacher's Wife" CD.
- US Clubs will be issued remixes of "Step By Step" in Mid-December
which will sport remixes by Junior Vasquez, Soul Solution and Teddy
Riley.
- The UK release date for "The Preacher's Wife" movie is 17th January
1997.
Sella
has provided me with the lyrics
to "I Believe In You and Me". Thanks, Sella!
ABOUT ANOTHER WHITNEY BIO: Deki D. writes: You should mention the book
"Diva: The Totally Unauthorized Biography of Whitney Houston" on your news
page, because I think people would rather read that than the one by the
ex-bodyguard! "Diva" is actually a very good book - it addresses the
rumours, but it also follows her life and career from the beginning, to
the phenomenon of "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. In short, I think fans
would rather read this book.

Whitney and her mother Cissy, are in December's issue of LIFE magazine.
It is a nice, but short, little blurb on how Cissy has influenced Whitney
through out her career. Nice, loving, heart-felt family picture.

Whitney is this month's feature in ASPIRE magazine. Well, [Alex] liked
the article, it is about her new movie and how awesome it is and how more
movies should be like "The Preacher's Wife." (submitted by: Alex
B.).

ABOUT THE NEW WHITNEY BIO:
I read that lame biography. I don't know who the hell this guy [Whitney's
ex-bodyguard] thinks he is, but he really made up a bunch of crap about
Whitney. The whole thing made me very upset and I only continued reading
because it was all such blasphemy. [some of the LIES include:]
- Whitney's gay...
- Whitney does cocaine...
- Whitney's a
bitch...
etc. It was all a bunch of crap. This book was
written by some guy who had been a bodyguard for Whitney during the tour
of 1991 and obviously his nose got out of joint somehow. But I was mad at
the things he was saying. You might want to advise people on
your page, NOT to read "Good Girl, Bad Girl", the new Whitney biography...
because it's all a bunch of lies!

it. Also, Tom C. has provided me with a

Despite persistent rumors that Kevin Costner can't stand working with
Whitney Houston again, he's reportedly negotiating with the black diva the
sequel to The Bodyguard. (submitted by: Dave B.)
He was on The Tonight Show recently to promote his latest movie, Tin Cup,
and Jay Leno was asking him how he felt about doing some remakes - Costner
said that the only one he's really considered seriously was 'Bodyguard,'
because everyone 'wants to be saved.'(submitted by: Deki D.).

The Whitney Houston Greatest Hits album is also due for imminent
release although without a confirmed date, it's due to drop very early in
the New Year, possibly February. This album will have four new tracks and
will be promoted alongside "The Preacher's Wife". (submitted by: Manish).

The October 25th issue of Entertainment Weekly outlines the "101
Most Important People". It lists Whitney Houston as #36. The downside
is that there's a really ugly caricature of Whitney that is plastered
right beside it.
