The
Whitney Weekday Request Campaign
has been divided by the letters of the alphabet. For example, if
your last name begins with the letter "A," you can proceed to the
row for "A" and call or e-mail any 3-5 radio stations in that section.
The letters will change everyday. The goal is to help ensure that
each state gets votes everyday, without all of us voting in huge
blocks.
Here is Another Option For Anyone With E-mail that Includes a
Line For BCC. This method enables you to send a single message
to DJs across the country without revealing that other DJs are receiving
your message at the same time.
DO NOT do this if your e-mail software does not provide a line called
BCC!!!
Non-AOL users click here.
AOL users have to use this different
method instead.
Note: While the BCC method will be quite effective, it excludes
many radio stations that do not provide direct e-mail addresses.
Therefore, if you have five minutes, continue to check out the
complete request list, because there are many links there that
will take you to radio station web sites where you'll be able
to send your e-mail message easily. Thanks!

There is a great picture of Whitney, BeBe Winans and Marvin Winans
performing in the Bahamas last December in this month's issue
of In Style Magazine. Also, in a teen magazine, the new girl group
Dream was interviewed and two of the girls said Whitney is their
favorite singer, and they always listened to her music everyday
and knew all of her songs by heart. Also in the same magazine,
they had another interview with teen singer Samantha Mumba, who
said she would like to meet Whitney more than anyone. (Thanks
Karly)

Here's
a brief update on Whitney's Hawaii case. The latest articles
today add that the judge officially dismissed the case.
Greek music channel "Mad TV" aired a Whitney video montage that
was like a remix of all the videoclips she has made. Some of the
songs were in nonstop remixes and continued from one to another.
It was excellent! (Thanks Irene)
On Emma Bunton's (Baby Spice) web site, emmabunton.net,
her profile says:

Music Charts Update: News from the U.K.
Echo Awards Correction: The information that Whitney has not won
the 2001 German Echo Award for Best International Artist - Female,
which appeared here within the past 12 hours, is incorrect. The
report was actually that Whitney was not expected to win
the award, and that it may go to singer Anastacia instead. It was
merely a newspaper opinion and Whitney could still win the award.
The error was due to a news submission that did not state it was
merely an opinion.
TV Reminder: An old episode of "Silver Spoons" featuring Whitney
will air on Nickelodeon tomorrow, March 5th at 11:30 p.m. EST. For
more appearances, check the Nippy Events Calendar.
The "VH1 All Access: Hot Bodies" poll is still going. As reported,
Whitney was nominated in two categories -- Best Mouth and Best Diaphragm.
If you don't want to see Whitney ranked yet again by VH1 in the
lower half of the list, click
here to vote for her. The show is due to premiere on March 22nd.
