The Whitney Weekday Request Campaign has been divided by the letters of the alphabet. For example, if your last name begins with the letter "A," you can proceed to the row for "A" and call or e-mail any 3-5 radio stations in that section. The letters will change everyday. The goal is to help ensure that each state gets votes everyday, without all of us voting in huge blocks.

Here is Another Option For Anyone With E-mail that Includes a Line For BCC. This method enables you to send a single message to DJs across the country without revealing that other DJs are receiving your message at the same time.
DO NOT do this if your e-mail software does not provide a line called BCC!!!

  • Non-AOL users click here.
  • AOL users have to use this different method instead.

Note: While the BCC method will be quite effective, it excludes many radio stations that do not provide direct e-mail addresses. Therefore, if you have five minutes, continue to check out the complete request list, because there are many links there that will take you to radio station web sites where you'll be able to send your e-mail message easily. Thanks!

Introducing Whitney Wednesdays! After a number of suggestions from online Whitney fans, whitney-fan.com is launching a Whitney Wednesday campaign specifically to get Whitney's new music video for "Fine" played on MTV Total Request Live and BET. The goal is to get as many people as possible to request the video by phone and e-mail on Wednesdays to have a better chance of the video being played. Today marks the countdown to the first Whitney Wednesday! Be sure to vote especially hard for Whitney's video on Wednesday and tell your friends in advance! Also, feel free to copy the animated banner above to help spread the word. We will only be successful if we work together. In the meantime, you can click here to request her songs at radio stations.

New Whitney Remix! Listen to the "It's Not Right 2000 (Liquid 360 Casa Caliente Mix)." Likely an unofficial mix, listen to it change the now famous opening beats of the "It's Not Right But It's Okay" Thunderpuss 2000 mix to guitars at the first 90-second mark. It's an interesting twist and a definite change of pace.

Whitney Houston, a friend since the early 80's, had never liked Andre from the first time she laid eyes on him, and never stopped calling him Tick-Tick-Boom, her way of reminding me that I was sitting on a keg of dynamite." (Thanks Saira, Jack)

Cole says she hasn't spoken to Houston since April. "I can't tell you how hard it is to see it. I'm on the other side of what people are going through -- my drug problem was all in the media. Now I'm on the other side. It's not a fun thing. But she's going to pull through. Whitney's got a purpose. She has such a gift. She's a survivor."

Whitney was among a group entertainers who sent videotaped congratulatory messages to Garth Brooks, who celebrated 100 million record sales in the U.S. yesterday night.
