Whitney Houston's second album, entitled "Whitney," was released in the United States in June 1987 and continued her winning streak. The album immediately made history, with Whitney Houston becoming the first female artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album has sold more than 19 million copies worldwide and includes the #1 Billboard Hot 100 hits "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)," "Didn't We Almost Have It All," "So Emotional" and "Where Do Broken Hearts Go," which established Whitney Houston as the only artist to achieve seven consecutive #1 hits in pop music history, surpassing a record previously held by The Beatles and the Bee Gees.
