Great song, full of meaning

I love the song. It's greatness and will be a definite no 1. But I think that for the most part both singers did a lot of holding back, especially ms. Carey. Nippy sang alot more than she did must she has alot more power than she is letting on. I think the reason for this was because, these 2 singers get alot of flack for the critics about using their voice to full potential, and a fear of saying that either one out sung each other.

The song starts off with Whitney singing a verse and chorus, then Mariah doing a verse and then the key goes up, whitney harmonizing some notes in Mariah's chorus. I prefer Mariah's verse and chorus. Then there's a short intrumental, after which Nippy and Mariah sing sort of a bridge. This is Nippy in all her glory, taking the melody with so much emotion and power, with Mariah doing a high harmony that blends very good, should have been mixed louder though. but that was Nippy's moment. The key changes and goes into the chorus with a choir and Whitney and Mariah adlibing, Mariah doing most of them, Nippy just answering her, they also could be heard way in the background singing the melody. From this last chorus to the end of the song is Mariah's moment. she ends the chorus on a very high note, not for her though, but for any other human:) then Nippy and her keep repeating When U Believe, kinda like Count On Me, but not over done, then there are Mariah's glass shattering, kettle whistle notes in the background, then she says a final When U and Nippy harmonizes on Believe. Very beautiful.

PS. to the people who reviewed that Nippy's voice ain't that good anymore. U probably didn't hear the duet on the radio, or at all, like I did, probably just heard the download. She is still top class, although I wish she sang some highr tones like I Will Always Love You.

PSS. to those who reviewed that Mariah sounded bad, or what ever, so many of them but one comes to mid, that says she can't hit those high whistle notes, obvious u haven't heard the song, cause she does them at the very end of the song. And she sounds very good thoughout the whole song, but not like Nippy

PSSS. Only one thing, as I said before these 2 greatest singers in the world could have sang a lot more and done more with their voices. Damn producer and critics!!!
