Not Feeling It

I, like many of you, didn't like the song when I first heard it. I have since listened to it 50 times, and I still don't like it. My observations:

- Whitney should have sung this one alone. Mariah's part in the song is negligible.

- The lyrics are inspiring, but the melody is too bland and boring.

- Whitney definately outsings Mariah, but this is more due to Mariah's voice problems. Babyface would have split it 50-50 if he could have, but that would have made Mariah look even worse -- it's obvious he had no choice to let Whitney shine.

- I don't think this song deserves to break the record for most weeks at #1. It's definately not as good as IWALY.

- Even though this song falls short of expectations, I will still buy WH's new album, because I hope there are better songs on it.
