WHITNEY has failed =(

I was so dissapointed when i heard the song in realaudio yesterday..whitney was singing too hard..and too loud..she sounds like she's shouting and she cannot reach those high notes anymore....she sounds like she's trying to be loud and it's just norma singing and no technic at all...what happened to the whitney in songs like 'EXHALE" where she restrained her vocals and sounded beautiful....i was extremely dissapointed when towards the end of the song..whitney was "shouting" when mariah was doing beautiful high notes..i'm not a fan of mariah but i'm sad to that mariah has won this time with her restrained vocals...i fear critics will criticize whitney for oversinging.Remeber the celine and barbra duet?? critics were saying that barbra sounded like butter next to celine's shouting.....oh no..i wish whitney's album wont be full of this..
