The Preacher's Wife Soundtrack Reviews

Subject: Paul's review of "The Preacher's Wife"

I have been an avid and devoted fan of the incredibly talented Whitney Houston since I first heard her sing "The Greatest Love of All". It is my opinion that she has outdone herself again with her most inspirational and powerful performance on a CD to date.

Whitney's work on this CD is outstanding in every respect. I love every song on "The Preacher's Wife", especially, the simple and beautiful "I Believe in You and Me" (I think it is one of her best ballads ever), the stirring and emotion-filled "I Love the Lord", the meaningful and touching, "You Were Loved", and the very sweetly sung and soft, "Who Would Imagine a King".

Whitney's voice and the musical orchestrations are "A-plus" all throughout "The Preacher's Wife". Each time I listen to the CD, I enjoy it more and more-if that's possible.

I think "The Preacher's Wife reaffirms for all Whitney fans what they already know - that she is not only an extraordinarily gifted and talented singer and performer, but she is a class act and easily in the same league as Barbra Steisand, Aretha Franklin, or Diana Ross.
