It's Not Right, But It's Okay:
A different Whitney with a lot of attitude. B
Heartbreak Hotel:
One of my favorites on the album. Although somebody should have given Faaith singing lessons. A-
My Love Is Your Love:
This song is awesome. A subdued whitney with that catchy chorus. A
When You Believe:
This is soundtrack material, but hearing them together is an experience itself. A-
If I Told You That:
This is the Boy is Mine, and she sounds terrible in the bridge of the song, but, still, a nice beat. B
In My Business:
I couldnt listen to it. Even after a month. C
I Learned From The Best:
Dianne Warren has done it again, and Whitney sounds great. A+
Oh Yes:
Another good song, very relaxing and enjoyable. A
Get It Back:
I really couldn't get into this one, she sounds coarse. B-
Until You Come Back:
This is traditional Whitney, she sounds good an not strained. A
I Bow Out:
One of the best cuts on the album, and she even holds those long, strong notes that I love to hear.
You'll Never Stand Alone:
Dianne Warren again. I think she needs some new material. Still, great Whitney. A
Overall impressions on MLIYL:
i have been a fan of Whitney since her debut album over a decade ago. I was hoping for a really nice comeback, and this album was okay despite some bad mistakes like including Missy Elliot. But, I have to give it up to Whitney, she looks good on the cover and i love her voice even if it has become a tad coarse.
