Totally shocked!!!!

It's Not Right, But It's Okay:
Couldn't get passed the intro until...last night. I was listening to several cuts when my brother walked in the room and begged me to find this cut. He admitted to "borrowing" the cd and listening in his car. He jammed to this track while on 285 (for the ATL folks) and he had folks rolling down the window to see what he was jamming to. I listened to the chorus for the first time and it's off the hook!!!

Heartbreak Hotel:
The best cut on the cd..... Sistas (of all colors) can relate to this. Great collaboration!!!! This needs to be the first single released; it could only help the album sells.

My Love Is Your Love:
Just plain sweet....why do I get the vision of being on a tropical island with dreds in my hair and morris chestnut in my arms. I sit back, close my eyes and forget the cares of the day with this one.

When You Believe:
You have to know your bible to understand this one. When I hear it I think of how the Israelites felt when they were about to cross the red sea and behind them were the Egyptians. The amazement and glory on their faces to see the red sea part and then destroy Pharoh and his armies. Only when you believe...... I just wished she sang it alone.

If I Told You That:
Not bad...not so quick to push the fast forward button.

In My Business:
It's Missy...but I think the two of them could've come up with something better.

I Learned From The Best:
Repetitive...but it's my girl. I bought the cd for that reason. Enough said!!!!

Oh Yes:
Probably would have to grow on me....too occupied with Heartbreak Hotel and MLIYL to be engrossed by this one.

Very beautiful.....my mother said the same words to me when I relocatted to the ATL all by my @*#* self. She's in touch with her daughter and that's an impression of her I'll cherish. She cares where it's most important.

I Was Made To Love Him:
Funky......another hit. If Arista do their job!!!!

Overall impressions on MLIYL:
She scared me at first, but her 5 albums represent the best of all music genres and that's the important thing. So whether we personally like it or not, she'll always have food on her table.

Off the hook....the first 4 cuts alone are priceless. Whitney's my baby, and I'll always be a fan for life.
