It's Not Right, But It's Okay:
It's not bad....this is one song that is going to have to grow on me!
Heartbreak Hotel:
I like this song because all 3 singers sound good together!
My Love Is Your Love:
I like this also because there is a very important message underneath the beat. I like evrything about this song!
When You Believe:
I don' know about everyone else but I really like this song. It is one of my favorites.
If I Told You That:
When I first heard this song, I fell in love with it. this song was an instant hit for me. She sings the hell outta this song!
In My Business:
It's so-so. It really doesn't display any of Whitney's power. It's on the pliain side.
I Learned From The Best:
This is another song that I heard for the first time and loved it! Especially when she sang this at the concert. This song should have no problem being a hit!
Oh Yes:
Not bad I get very tired of hearing the chorus!!
Get It Back:
Also not bad! It will grow on me because it doesn't sound like a song that Whitney would sing.
Until You Come Back:
I really like this one for a new slow song. It will be a hit.
I Bow Out:
Also not a bad song! I like it.
You'll Never Stand Alone:
I also like this song alot. It will be a hit.
I Was Made To Love Him:
What is the hype surrounding this song. It's alright but there are much better songs on the album, stop sweating Lauryn Hill like that!
Overall impressions on MLIYL:
I think that Whitney has done a terrific job with this album, especially in the short period of time that it took to complete! Some of you people are toooo criticle and negative. That is the reason as to why Whitney has an album and you don't! All of you people know who you are! Either buy the album or not! It's that simple to do. What people have to realize is that Whitney has been singing for ALOT of years. It is only natural for her voice to decrease! I'm sure that if we all sang profesionally for over 10 years, our voices would be going away. Another reason as to why she changed up is because it is a strain to do songs like those back in the 80's. For God's sake, cut her a break PLEASE! If you haven't realized it or not, we are living in the 90's and not the 80's so come back to reality! Overall, I really enjoy this album and I hope that it soon becomes #1. Whitney displays that she can hang with the singers today without any problems. Actually she has surpassed the singers that are currently out there. The only other album that I listen to as much as this is Monica. I give this album 5 out of 5 stars, because she has a little bit of everything. This is the Whitney of today, which is simply the best!
