A Work of Art!

Posted by AngelUr on November 17, 1998:

It's Not Right, But It's Okay:
I bought the CD as soon as I left work and I just finished listening to it and it's incredible! Whitney did not let us down and for those people who didn't think Whitney could release such an artful collection, I bet you feel really stupid. Mariah's "Butterfly" doesn't come near this project. Not to put my girl Mariah down, but it's true.

Heartbreak Hotel:
It's a beautiful song and Faith and Kelly sang beautifully also.

My Love Is Your Love:
I loved Wyclef Jean's beats and the raggae feel of the track.

When You Believe:
What can I say? Remarkable.

If I Told You That:
A great up tempo track.

In My Business:
One of my favorites, she lets people know that her marriage is HER BUSINESS

I Learned From The Best:
An unbelievable gorgeous ballad.

Oh Yes:
Soulful, sexy and romantic.

Get It Back:
Another astounding up tempo track that reminds me a little of Brandy's "You Don't Love Me (Like You Used To)"

Until You Come Back:
My favorite ballad in the album, it has a nice, 50s feel to it.

I Bow Out:
I like it, I especially like the background vocals.

You'll Never Stand Alone:
A beautiful and sweet typical Whitney ballad.

I Was Made To Love Him:
A work of art.

Overall impressions on MLIYL:
I gotta say this is the best Whitney album ever!
