Which Concert: Saturday, Nov. 14/98

I am so sick and tired of some people criticizing Whitney's performance at AC. Some people are just never happy. The same people who
said Whitney should have cancelled the concert if
she was so hoarse, would have been the first ones
to complain if she did cancel.
Whitney was the first to admit that she was
alittle hoarse, but she promised she would give
us everything she had to give. Boy, did she deliver! She was playful, talkative, fun, funny,
and she sang with lots of heart. Although she was
alittle hoarse, explaining she had just finished
MLIYL in 6 weeks, I think Whitney's voice was much
better than some of the critics who have submitted
their review here. At the end of the concert,
Whitney came out to do one last song-"Step by Step". At that point, my friend and I went to to the front- about 3 rows back- Whitney was rocking! The crowd went wild for her. My friend
and I joined some others by standing on our chairs
and dancing along with our girl Whitney- it was
so cool. At one point, she waved and smiled at
me- I thought I died and went to heaven. Being
so close to her, I could really appreciate what
a beautiful woman she is- she really is more gorgeous in person. This was my 6th Whitney
concert. You can really see how she has evolved
into a tremendous live performer. She is much
more comfortable and herself-and always gives us
100%. In my opinion, no singer today comes close
to her. I love Whitney and always will!
