Concert date: 11/7/99 Birmingham, UK

Review of the show:
I arrived at the NEC at 6pm, ready to pick up my tickets from the box office because i had booked through the platinum club. I went to see Whitney at Sheffield but couldn't make any other shows because i was abroad on holiday, i booked to go to Paris but the demand to go from England wasn't has high as the operator wanted and the trip fell through so i was excited when Whitney added extra dates. In Sheffield i was in row 14 and really wanted to be closer this time around. When i recieved my tickets i was excited to see i was in row 2 right in front centre stage.

In Sheffield Whitney was good, but she was 45 minutes late and having problems with her vioce and the sound. It was an enjoyable night.

This time Whitney was on time!!!

Her voice was like i had never heard in my whole life. I've seen Whitney many times and over the last couple of years was beginning to think what people were saying about her not being what she used to be voice wise were true.

This put any doubts i had away. The voice was sensational and Whitney, her band, her dancers and the crowd knew it. It was a huge party. My partner who is not a fan was astonished and really enjoyed the show. Whitney was in a great mood and during IITUT we danced together, pointing and laughing together, this made my night, from then on she knew i was having fun and smiled over to me often.

The highlight of the night was My Love is Your Love. She really got the crowd involved and it looked like all the band and dancers were going crazy and having fun. I Love the Lord was also sensational, these were the highlights of a show full of highlights. I've personally never experienced witnessing a voice as incredible as Whitney's and when she is on form she is a first class entertained who knows she has a incredible talent. Its now been a few days since the show and i'm still on an incredible buzz.

I'm looking forward to feeling the way Whitney made me feel at the NEC again and truly believe that only Whitney could possibly match what she showed everyone that night, nobody including Barbra Striesand, Shirley Bassey, Celine Dion could come near to "THE VOICE" if you have doubts then please put them to rest by visiting Whitney on tour the next time she performs. You will believe!!!!
