Review of the show:
It's arrived the great day!The Diva comes back in Milano for the third time,after her concert in 1988 and 1993.We are all in suspance:her performance will be unforgettable?We are sure it will be a very beautiful evening.

It's a rainy day,and it's cold.We hope Whitney will warm up all,with her music,her words of love,her emotions,her energy.

AT 20.30 p.m. the lights go out.....but it's only the beginning,the supporter Amanda Marshall.She is pretty beautiful,has fine songs,but she hasn't a repertoire that can fascinate.Her show finish after forty minutes.Now we are all expecting for Whitney,her concert should start at 21.30p.m. .....again fifteen minutes....and so.....the roll of the drums....lights go out...and....here Whitney!

She is very very beautiful,even if she has a different look:black pants and hat with strass,a white blouse with a red rose in the button hole,black high-heeled shoes.The scene is builded with three big silver wheels,a transversal staircase,a background with a weak ray of light.

Ther is also a big screen showing the images of the concert.

In the first song,Get it back,white big lamps illuminate the scene;four dancers complete the whole ambient.

Right now we notice Whitney is particulary inspired,and the public like her.In the end a big red lamp lights up,Whitney takes off her hat and becomes to sing Heartbreak Hotel,which has a beautiful final played with very frequent changes of tonality.Very good!

It's the moment of If I Told You That,and all the public becomes to warm up,singing with her.During this song,a very curious fact happen to her:Whitney drops from hands her hanky,she stoops to pick it up while she is singing.The band stop playing and Whitney becomes speaking with the public:"Good evening....thank you for all here in Milano....Claps your hands....I need to feel you,I need to know you love me"

We are all exploded (we are in the 1st row),immediately applaude her and with my friend tell her:"Whitney,you know we love you".She looks

at us and smiles.

After she becomes to present the next song:"Take back in 1985,my first album,Do you remember Saving All My Love for You...."It's a new version,a-cappella one,only her voice and a grand-piano.A wonderful interpretation,with a beautiful final high note.SAMLFY finishes in the note of Until you come back.Even this song very good,but less fascinating.

Now Whitney takes off her jacket,remaining only with the blouse,again a red lamp illuminate the scene and starts I Learned From The Best.

When she becomes the initial notes of Step By Step ,all the public explode.The clima becomes totally dance,and so we decide to get up from our chairs and starting dancing;Whitney is clearly happy for this fact,people notice this and all get up and sing the chorus with her.We go near the scene and acclaim the Diva.A very exciting moment for us.....

It's time to change the clothes,during this moment the band plays a mixing of her success:I Have Nothing,I'm Your Baby Tonight,Queen Of The Night.In the screen some scene from "The Bodyguard" are projected.

Even the lights change:there are more intense red lights,in the background there are multicolor spots.Nippy comes back in the scene!Now she has a gray dress with paillettes,a black top,boots and wristband (the same of the film "The Bodyguard").She becomes singing My Love Is Your Love and the public sing with her in the chorus:she says "My love is your love" and we sing "Your love is my love"...in the middle her husband Bobby Brown arrives in the scene,making a duet with her.

Again dancing rhythm in I Wanna Dance With Somebody and How Will I Know,in the end of this song all start clapping her for a very long time.

Now a moment of quiet,it's gospel time.Whitney tells:"From my film The Preacher's wife....I believe and so I always pray.....it's how to be in church....." and begin singing Jesus Loves Me.

Perhaps the most intense moment,the best interpretation of the evening is in I Love The Lord:Whitney's eyes is shining with joy,with great feeling and sentiment.The next gospel is I Go To The Rock,she is sweaty and so she wipes her beautiful face before starting to present the band.

The atmosphere becomes romantic:now the scene is illuminated only by a white spotlight,Whitney takes a white chair,sit and start singing I Believe In You And Me,with only her voice,a synth and a bass;the song finishes first in Why Does It Hurts So Bad and after in It Hurts Like Hell.

Now a big blue lamp lights up the scene,the background is full of blue spot,and Whitney sings the initial notes of I Will Always Love You.It's the final apotheosis:all singing with her,whispering the words...the solo sax is changed,there is an electric guitar solo.....she sit down again in the chair,makes her hanky falling....and....the highes notes...Wonderful!

The public explose with a rumble,and intense light is lightening the Diva,she bowes,crouching in herself,all claps for everlasting moments...she greets smiling and go out.

But it's not finished:there is again the final song,It's Not Right But It's Okay,in a remix dance version,all the public sing in choir with her.

An unforgettable evening.Thanks Whitney,for giving us so precious moments

P.S.:I am sure a huge fan,but I am also a musician and so I think I can surely say that in this evening Whitney has been fantastic in her vocal performance,both tecnically and in her interpretation.She's simply the best!
