great but not excellent, lots of energy

Review of the show:
This will be a short one.

I was a bit dissapointed in the beginning because she seemed to have some problems with her voice. That scared me because the new songs are song in the lower key of her voice.

Gradually her voice seemed to warm up. Although her voice wasn't as high and crisp as I've heard before on her older song shegave a great but not excellent performance of the older songs.

What I do give her a lot of credit for is her skill. She can improvise and it sounds good. Singing without an earpiece and then improvise on her songs. Only the excellent can do that. Maybe she can't depent on her voice like she used to, what she does with what she has is unique.

My fav song was I love the lord because she sang it good and I was the only one in my section who knew the lyrics so everyone was quiet. I don't think that the Preachers Wife album did all that well judging on the reaction of the people around me. That is a shame because that is a really good album.

I loved the MLIYL interlude (who dat who at who dat) with Bobby. We were jumping around singing along much to the shock of other people who obviously never heard the rapsong.

Bobby was singing along and dancing along with Whitney and the dancers. Boy he can sure move. For someone who supposedly has his own carreer he seems pretty devoted to his wife to accompany her on the tour. There must be some serious loving going on between the too. She did look at him alot though when she sang ILFTB. One might speculate about the downs in their relationship she was referring to.

The strongest part of Whitney is her ability to improvise and sing without an earpiece. It shows she has full control over her voice and for that I give her 5*.

I give her 31/2* for her vocal performance.

Igive her a solid 5* for looks (she looks better as she ages)

I give a solid 5* to her background singers (boy they can sure blow!)

I give 3* for to her musicians, she fooled them at least once.

The overall rating for her show is 4*. Not bad at all.

Keep it up Whitney!
