Concert date: 10/12/99 Rotterdam, Netherlands

Review of the show:
I went to the concert with a lot of mixed feelings.My stomack was hurting just because of the nerves as if I was responsible for Ms Houston to come out and show the not so die hard fans and the tag alongers that she is the best singer of this time.

She started exactly at 9.00 p.m (I think the first concert she started on time), but didn't start as "gritty" as the song sounds on the album , it wasn't spectacular. Her voice was cracking and she couldn't always hit the high notes.

I read some reviews from the Holland concert and people were saying how good she was, but I don't think she was that good. She fooled everybody there by doing all this technical things with her voice so she would sound very good. That's what I call a genius and I don't think that there is anyone out there in the music business that can do all the tricks she does with her voice.

I think because of her great skills and her technical ability she is still able to sound good. I was afraid that she wouldn't be able to sing through the concert, but she did luckily. I don't think it was a good idea to extend the tour, because I think she should rest now and spare here voice, because we want to here from here for so many years to come. The whole entourage was perfect, Bobby was great , I think of all the bad things there are written about him , we should give the man some respect because he stood by his wife through all the concerts and gave her the energy she needed by standing aside on the stage. I was watching him and he was really enjoying himself and he does that every concert so......please give the guy a break.

My final conclusion is , it was a great show even though her voice was cracking sometime, but she still gave a hell of a concert, something she isn't known for. I loved the technical things she does with her voice and THE LADY DOESN'T EVEN SING WITH AN EARPIECE and still manage to sing in tune with the band, what nobody else can .
