Concert date: 9/25/99 Antwerp, Belgium

Review of the show:
My first impression when I came in was: the stage isn't that huge what I had thought it would be. But, you know, Whitney doesn't need too much special effects to give an impressive concert !!!

And it was like that ! When she came from the staircase, she was sooooooo beautiful and handsome. But when she began to sing, the microphone was a bit too sharp during the song "Get it back", although that problem was soon over! I have to admit that she never hit a false note: she sang all the time like an angel!

But it's a pity that she shortened the whole concert: she didn't sing "I'm every woman" and "Shoop shoop". It's a pity! Because I think the average Belgian audiance know those songs better than f. eg. "I love the lord", although in my opinion: because of that song, you really felt the presence of God ! I'm sure everybody was touched (Christian or not).

Bobby Kris didn't appear on stage during "My love is your love". Pity...

I think Whitney wanted to stop as soon as possible, but that doesn't mean that she didn't sing out of her heart !

"I will always love you": she REALLY cried, and it wasn't like an actress. At that moment you could feel a high tension through the arena: everybody kept their breath. And I have to say: I've never heard her voice so clear and correct like then: nor on TV, nor live.

And, fortunately at the end, she sang INRBIO !

We were worth it! After 5 minutes (or even more) she finally got back on stage ! (I had already lost hope !)

Anyway: she was perfect, but it was too short. We pay all that money for the ticket, so I guess she has to know that there are always huge fans in the crowd (although I know there were no much people who recognized the songs from her latest album).
