Concert date: 7/24/99 St. Louis, MO

Review of the show:
We live 5 hrs. from St. Louis and we're buying our first home, so money is kinda tight. My wife is a huge Whitney fan and I promised her long ago if she ever came to Missouri, I would take her. I made such a big deal out of the Whitney tickets. Gift wrapping them, laying them on my wife's pillow. She was so excited, she called everyone she knew, "I'm going to Whitney!" We drove out to St. Louis on Friday and found out she had cancelled the Friday concert. Thank goodness our tickets we're for Saturday. Well as we all know that was a blow out, also. My wife was so disappointed and I really felt like a dirty dog. My wife is still a Whitney fan, probably always will be but I've lost all respect for her. She works for her fans and her reputation is ruined.

I hope she works out her problems (illness), she is a very talented woman and must earn back the respect of her fans.
